愛知県瀬戸市で作陶する齋藤一（まこと）さんの花器です。
近年取り組んでいるモザイク柄に色を塗り分けているシリーズです。
直線的なようでいて色の境目が滲み柔らかい表情を生み出しています。

磁器の上に釉薬、化粧土、上絵を何層にも重ねることによって生み出される曖昧な色味は、陽の光によって移ろう霞がかった空のようです。

This is a flower vase by Makoto Saito, a potter based in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.
It is part of a series in which he applies different colours to the mosaic patterns he has been exploring in recent years.
Whilst the lines appear straight, the colour boundaries bleed into one another, creating a soft, subtle effect.

The subtle hues, created by layering glaze, engobe and overglaze decoration upon the porcelain, resemble a hazy sky that shifts with the sunlight.
