This is a *katakuchi* (spouted vessel) by Hirokane Yamashita.

Dimensions: Width 14.5 cm x Depth 10.5 cm x Height approx.9.5 cm

These pieces are created by Yamashita, a potter based in Saga Prefecture.
They feature soft forms shaped primarily by hand. Combined with multi-layered hues and textures achieved through repeated cycles of high-temperature firing and polishing, the vessels seem to breathe slowly—evoking the feeling of living creatures that exist in a world apart from our own.
